I have read this book, and I have to say that this was the first book written by a Coptic author that really touched my heart. When I read it, I actually had tears in my eyes and was truly enthralled by it. I loved the poetry of it, the imagery and the messages of love.

I often feel that as an English speaker I miss out on the personality of the Pope as it is described to me by Arabic speakers/readers. He has a reputation of being very educated, quick witted and of inserting clever jokes into his lectures- I was very happy to find hints of that personality throughout this work, and it was lovely to finally be able to share in that!
